The Origin
VanillaOfGods was established out of a profound passion for quality. The founder has extensive experience in the premium confectionery industry across APAC with a strong emphasis on omnichannel business strategies. Through this experience, he recognized an escalating demand from chefs and entrepreneurs for high-quality ingredients—consistent in excellence while adhering to environmental standards—at competitive and reliable prices. Unfortunately, many businesses have sacrificed their supply quality in response to rising operational costs, resulting in a wave of complaints and business closures. It is evident that no enterprise can thrive without maintaining consistent quality and professionalism.
During extensive travels throughout Asia, the founder developed a deep appreciation for Bali and Indonesia more generally. His repeated visits and personal connections have fuelled his desire to explore the circular economy and identify ways to support Indonesian farmers. A pivotal moment occurred during a motorcycle trip in rural Bali, where he discovered a remarkable Vanilla farm operated by the founders of FORESTA. This experience ignited the inception of VanillaOfGods, rooted in a passion for Bali and Indonesia, an affinity for premium Vanilla products, and a commitment to a sustainable economy, along with the unwavering belief that a significant market opportunity existed.
